How to take the redness out of a pimple?

I have 2 pimples by my mouth, and I don't know how to take the redness out of them, make them smaller, make them go away, etc. Also does toothpaste really work? Thanks!How to take the redness out of a pimple?

toothpaste dries out the skin, and helps to absorb some of the oil. you could put ice on it. If it's close enough to the surface (a whitehead), you could try squeezing out some of the pus, but that could make it worse. drink a bunch of water, that always helps to give a nice glow to the skin, or just use coverup

squeezing them first then the paste will get rid of them even faster, squeeze till they bleed, then some aftershave or equivelant to seal it and kill any germs around it, then toothpaste

I use a persa-gel by clean and clear that works GREAT. Go buy a tube, it's less than 5 dollars at any drugstore/walmart etc.


And yes, toothpaste also works by drying the pimple out... but I perfer the persa-gel.

Just put make up over it, that is what I do and you can barely notice I have pimples.
put toothpaste on it when you brush your teeth tonight then ice it in the morning don't forget to take the paste off though
The toothpaste never did work for me, just made my face smell fresh. Lol.. Try putting a calming mask on or just cover it with makeup. Everyone gets pimples so dont worry.
tooth paste for me only works when i feel them about to come up ..and for the redness i use eye drops..it takes the redness out of your eyes and acne :)
well i'm black so pimples don't look as red as white people on me, so i put ice, i think it'll work on u 2
spread peter pan peanut butter on it before you go to sleep...that stuff works like magic.

Tooth paste works like magic. Its been used in my family for years and it almost always seems to work.
i use eucerin redness relief. Its a green tinted concealer that covers up redness
Rubbing alcohol works really well just put some on a cotton ball and rub it on your pimples..it dries them up.
put toothpaste on it for like an hour.
get pimple cream dont poke at it it will get worse also u can wear cover up
